Race Committee Requirements

Note: All members are required to serve 2 days of race committee

Sustaining, Full, Associate, and Student Members are obligated to serve 2 days of Race Committee during Spring/Summer series.

Your Membership MUST be paid and you MUST be signed up for RC BEFORE the season starts in April or you will NOT be scored.

Also, you MUST signup for an additional 1 day in the Winter Series, if you are participating. We need your help!

Expectations of Race Committee

1. Arrive on-time - please arrive at the venue by 9 am to help set-up and prepare for the day's racing

2. Arrive prepared - bring your lunch, plenty of water, and any gear that you may need for the day.

3. Plan to stay for the entire day of sailing - the sailing can go late, so be ready to spend the day on the water.
Please select a staff position if you are not ready for PRO or assistant. Only when all the staff positions are taken will an additional name overflow into the 'Backup' column.

If you sign up to tow a boat, please note that if you tow a club boat, you are responsible under your own auto insurance for any accidents that involve the towed boat. The club assumes no legal responsibility for the boat or the trailer while you are towing a boat.

If you are signing up for an event that spans two days (CSC Championship, Governors Cup), please sign up for both days of the event if at all possible.
