The ILCA/Laser Fleet

Originally known as the Laser, the ILCA dinghy is a single-handed racing dinghy. The biggest attraction of the ILCA dinghy is that it is protected by strict one-design class rules, which means that no changes are allowed to the boat unless they are specifically permitted in the rules. The result is that all Laser boats are virtually identical whether they are brand new or 20 years old, and it is one of the largest one-design classes in the world. The rig design makes it quick to setup and pack up, and suitable for sailors of many different weights and abilities.

YOU are INVITED
CSC hosts Winter Racing out of Crosswinds Boating Center on Jordan Lake, and every race is a coaching event.
Lasers are great for winter racing, since they can be quickly righted.
