Flying Scot #4225 built in 1986
by Gordan Douglas Boat Co.. Ivory hull, white deck with blue
waterline and cove stripe. Excellent condition. Boat has been
dry sailed from a dock-side hoist 7 months and then on a trailer
the remaining months since 1988. Bottom oaint was factory applied
when new boat was new on a mooring the same intervals the first
2 years. Bottom paint is almost completely gone. Boat has always
been covered with a cockpit cover. Bottom above balsa core shows
no signs of water infiltration and there was no evidence of
water staining. Deck looks great and is free of cracks.
Boat is rigged as a daysailor and the main & jib are original
but were always covered. A TeeNee galvanized trailer is used
to store the boat during the winter and has seldom been used.
Tires and rims should be replaced. Priced to sell at
$5300.
